Inside your Windows PC

Understand the components that make up your computer. The Windows scanner organizes your hardware details into a readable system report.

Processor manufacturer, model, and available core information.
Memory
Installed memory capacity and available module specifications.
Graphics
Graphics adapters and the drivers associated with them.
Storage
Storage device models, types, and capacities, without reading personal files.
Motherboard
Manufacturer and board model details where Windows makes them available.
BIOS
BIOS or firmware version information to help identify your system configuration.
Operating System
Windows version, build, and system architecture for compatibility checks.
Devices
Connected and installed devices, including identifiers needed for driver matching.
These are the scanner’s report categories. No hardware has been detected, and no system information is being displayed.
Find the model of another PC
On that computer, open Settings → System → About for Windows and architecture details, or System Information for its system model. A product label may also show the model. Avoid sharing serial numbers or service tags in public searches.
Hardware details can be unavailable when Windows does not expose them. Missing information is not evidence of a hardware fault.
