ASUS Drivers — How to Find Official Windows Drivers
ASUS support covers laptops, motherboards and accessories. A family name or similar-looking board is not a reliable package match. Identify the exact product and the feature you need before opening its official download page.

Confirm the complete product model
For a laptop, read System Model in System Information and compare it with ASUS's product-identification instructions. For a custom desktop, identify the motherboard model and any revision distinctions in its documentation. Do not assume the desktop case brand identifies the motherboard.
Check Settings, System, About for Windows version and system type. ASUS's support instructions distinguish x64 systems from ARM-based products. Choose a package explicitly supported for the product and architecture rather than running an x64 driver installer on ARM64 because other applications work there.
Inspect the affected device first
In Device Manager, open the device's Properties and read its status. Use Details, Hardware Ids for an unnamed controller and record the installed driver version when available. A missing Wi-Fi option, muted speaker or disabled touchpad can require different checks.
On a motherboard, confirm whether the failing connection is built in or belongs to an add-in card or USB accessory. A motherboard support page cannot automatically supply the correct driver for every peripheral attached to the PC. For those products, consult their own official makers.
Use the model's ASUS download page
Start from the approved ASUS Download Center below, select the exact product and supported Windows release, then inspect the relevant driver category. Read package notes and prerequisites. ASUS's official support tools may offer another supported route, but obtain them only through ASUS and review their proposed actions.
For an ARM-based ASUS product, follow that model's package instructions, including any documented board-support package rather than substituting an unrelated Intel or AMD package. If your Windows version is not supported on the product page, ask ASUS about the supported configuration instead of guessing.
Keep firmware separate and verify the result
Windows Update can supply applicable drivers. BIOS and firmware changes require the exact product's instructions, stable power and a clear reason; do not treat them as routine driver replacements. Save an official network package before changes that could interrupt internet access.
After installation and any requested restart, retest the original feature and inspect Device Manager. DrvBeacon can help organize the current hardware and driver state, while the Manual Driver Finder researches another PC independently. Neither automatically installs ASUS software. Avoid third-party driver packs, mirrored downloads and security-bypass instructions.
Choose your next step
Use the evidence you collected. The Manual Driver Finder works for another PC without a scan. A scan of this PC requires the local Windows scanner; check scanner availability and setup first. DrvBeacon reads information and never installs a driver automatically.
